Bethany Seminary Celebrates One Hundred Fifth Commencement 

On Saturday May 8 Bethany Theological Seminary celebrated its one hundred fifth commencement, awarding nine students a master of divinity degree and one student a certificate of achievement in theological studies. 

Special congratulations to Tracy Stoddart, who graduated with a Master of Divinity with emphases in peace studies and youth and young adult ministries and with distinction in ministry studies. Tracy grew up in the Koinonia Church of the Brethren, Grand Junction, Colo. and attended McPherson College. Tracy currently lives in Dayton, Ohio and is discerning her next call in ministry.

Check it out! Church of the Brethren Credit Union is excited to announce that you can now access your CoBCU accounts 24 hours a day from any Internet connection, with our new Online Banking and Bill Pay. The new online services allow Credit Union members to monitor their account balances; transfer funds among savings, checking, and Club accounts; submit Credit

Union loan payments; and set up payees to handle such things as your auto insurance, cable television, and utility bills. You can even send your monthly tithe with online Bill Pay. Online Banking is available to all members of CoBCU, whether you have a savings account or both savings and checking accounts. But to use Bill Pay, you must have a checking account. If you are a Credit Union member but have not yet signed up for a checking account with debit card, all you need to do is deposit $25 into the new account to open it. Once you have a checking account with CoBCU, you can easily sign up for online services and enroll in Bill Pay. And if you act

now, you can receive a free box of checks with your new checking account. If you do not belong to the Credit Union, contact us about becoming a member. The Church of the Brethren recently began publishing a new, electronic newsletter called eBrethren. The newsletter is formatted in an easy-to-read style and will contain a photo and a link to more information on each topic. We hope the newsletter will help you stay connected and engaged with the ministries of the church. Church of the Brethren Congregational Life Ministries recently released the first issue of its new publication Basin & Towel.  The three issues published each year will offer insights for the development of church leaders, relevant to each of the ministry areas within congregational life:

Brethren Bible Institute

The 37th annual Brethren Bible Institute, sponsored by the Brethren Revival Fellowship, will take place at Elizabethtown (Pa.) College July 19-23. A variety of classes will be offered during the week, which may be counted as CEUs for ordained ministers. Scholarship aid is available. Contact the district office for a brochure and more details.
