Revised District Structure Presentation across Western Plains

             At the 2009 District Conference the Board presented a vision of a new District Structure centered around God’s Transformation among us.  

            District Conference delegates and other attendees engaged in conversation in small groups and sent this back to the Board for revision based on feedback from District Conference. The delegates named that the District Board review the comments  by District Conference small groups and to bring back updated structure recommendations and a plan for implementation, if approved at the 2010 Conference. 

            The Board  made changes and approved the Revised Structure Paper in November and  is ready to share this update that reflects comments and ideas from delegates and others who participated in the small groups.  

            Members of the Board will be hosting workshops about the Revised District Structure throughout Western Plains from April to July.

April 18    Parsons CoB hosting Area Rally  2:30 PM - Darrell Barr, presenter

April 20     Garden City CoB 7 PM  -   presenter to be determined

May    2     Rochester Community, Topeka - 4 PM -  Sonja Griffith

June    6    McPherson CoB, 3:30 - 5:30 PM - Bob Dell, presenter

            We anticipate setting one or two dates in Colorado, likely in early June. if your congregation would like someone to come to you to review the Revised Structure document, please contact, Lisa Hazen, Board Chair. (316.263.0274).

            There will also be a workshop at District Conference available about the Structure before the recommendation is presented on the District Conference floor for action.
